At Affirm With Me, we understand that there are significant barriers to healthcare access for neurodivergent people. Overall, neurodivergent people have poorer physical and mental health, compared to their neurotypical counterparts.

The medical model of disability often fails to take into consideration the accommodations needed for neurodivergent people to access healthcare. Social, environmental and sensory barriers aren’t explicitly taught during university.
